Audacious Women Initiative (AWIMFI) is a non-governmental microfinance institution established on March 1, 2021, with a mission to empower women economically and promote the welfare and development of the girl child across Nigeria.
We are committed to creating opportunities that enable women to achieve financial independence through accessible lending, business support, and community empowerment programs. By supporting women entrepreneurs and small-scale business owners, we help build stronger families, sustainable livelihoods, and thriving communities.
Our organization is built on the firm conviction that empowering women and supporting young girls are indispensable steps toward lasting social and economic transformation. Audacious Women Initiative is a microfinance Non Governmental Organization, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC) with Certificate Registration Number 156011.
AWI is also registered with Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) an arm of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Nigeria with Certificate Registration Number SC091400802. Also a member of Association of Non-Bank Microfinance Institution of Nigeria (ANMFIN).
